Mix raw apple cider vinegar and water in equal amounts in a bowl. Soak the fingernails into the bowl for at least 5 minutes and they massage the nails and cuticles.

Repeat this daily to see any effect. Potassium, vitamins, iron, magnesium, calcium, acetic acid, and malic acid in the vinegar will not only help in strengthening the nails but will help in fighting any infection.
